One of the 49ers most prolific scorers as well as a gutsy shooter, Leemire surpassed 1000 career points as a junior and will move into the 49ers all-time top 20 scorers, this year. Averaged in double figures the last two seasons. His 215 career three-pointers rank in the school's all-time top five and his shooting pct. has improved in each of his first three seasons. In addition, he proved himself a clutch performer by icing three wins by hitting at least six straight free throws in the final minute (led A-10 with 905 FT%). A top defender, he has led 49ers in steals the last two years. A team leader with unquestionned desire and work ethic.
2006-07: Second on the team with a career-best 14.5 points while shooting a career-best .394 from three-point range ... numbers improved to 16.0 points and .450 3FG% in A-10 play ... led team with 82 assists and 39 steals ... canned 91 threes to lead the A-10 with 3.03 threes per game...led the A-10 with .905 free throw pct.
